NEW ZEALAND
Kia Ora ! Haere mai, Welcome to the Youngest country on Earth !!
Multi-cultural, diverse, stunning, pristine and young……These are the exact words used to describe New Zealand. Awesome landscapes, lush forests, amazing wildlife and pleasant climate makes New Zealand a haven for many outdoor activities, and a great place to unwind.
New Zealand is situated in the South Pacific Ocean and its nearest neighbour is Australia & it is probably the most isolated country in the world, yet highly developed country. A geographical wonder the country has everything from mountain ranges to beaches, glaciers to subtropical and temperate rainforest, active volcanoes and thermal activity to land that is permanently covered in ice & snow, from tranquil lakes and Fjords to thunderous waterfalls and rivers.
New Zealand is an island nation made up of 2 main islands aptly named the North Island and the South Island.
The North Island has a warmer climate and contains the country’s volcanoes and most of the thermal activities such as geysers, thermal rivers and boiling mud pools. There are many beautiful beaches especially up north. It is mainly a hilly island with one major chain of mountains that start from the East Cape running down to Wellington.
South Island’s terrain is predominantly rugged and wild, South Island offers cruises and thrilling adventures including the iconic Tranz Alpine train journey. And then there are the Glaciers and the resort town of Queenstown where any number of days spent are less.
There is a wide range activities for one to do, whether you want to enjoy driving or thrilling adventures activities, or if you just want to admire nature’s wonders, we at Déjàvu Holidays can arrange it all for you !
