The Baltic States in Northern Europe, on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea consists of the three sovereign states of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. Poland although a part of central Europe, borders with Lithuania and thus also sits on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. All these countries are dotted with stoic hilltop fortresses, churches and beautifully preserved castles apart from the beautiful Baltic coastline. A major attraction in these countries are the old towns which operate as these country’s cultural & tourist hubs.
